Bradley Beal was present at the US Open to witness Frances Tiafoe's historic victory over Rafael Nadal.

While we watch Washington Wizards forward Deni Avdija get into midseason form at EuroBasket 2022, the franchise player is relaxing before training camp starts later this month.

Bradley Beal was the US Open tennis tournament in New York City this past weekend.

The big match of Monday night was when Frances Tiafoe, a Maryland native, beat out Spanish superstar Rafael Nadal in four sets in the fourth round.

According to the ATP, Nadal is ranked third, while Tiafoe is rated 26th. Being ranked No. 26 is quite impressive. However, it is an underdog ranking when compared against a superstar like Nadal.

This isn't a tennis website, of course. So why am I bringing up Beal? He was in the crowd, and his reaction is shown below.

Tiafoe noted that Beal is his favorite NBA player, so this was a special moment for him.
